Shattered Might was an indie title I worked on. It had a minimalist approach to its art direction and its gameplay was inspired by early Castlevania games. I contributed to the construction of its levels, from the initial design phase to the modeling, lighting, composition and visual effects in Unity. The images below are from its desert world.
The following images are examples of the level after completing an early gameplay design pass, before any of the environment art was added. The goal here was to define the spaces where enemies would reside and any environmental interaction sequences early on.
